Get a tailor made safari in Lake Manyara, or join small group game drives

Tanzania is iconic Africa. Where the snowclad summit of Mount Kilimanjaro surveys the plains of the Serengeti, wildlife abounds in staggering numbers. This is the site of one of the world’s most remarkable natural spectacles: the annual Great Migration when nearly two million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle traverse the savanna in pursuit of water and new grass. Predators like lion and cheetah stalk in their wake. Farther south, in Tarangire National Park, vast herds of elephant outnumber people. With some of the continent’s greatest concentrations of wild animals, Tanzania is duly famed as a top safari destination.

Lake Manyara Safari is a great choice because the lake is the major waterhole in the most wildlife crowded region of Tanzania and Africa. If you like birding Lake Manyara should be on your top list! But, we think it should be high on most lists no matter what you prefer! Lake Manyara is a great combination with classics like Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation area.

UNA EXPERIENCIA INOLVIDABLE
I visited Tanzania with my partner and had a beautiful holiday together with the Footslopes & Tours team. They were very attentive people and provided excellent service during the safaris, both food, lodging and guide. Our guide was Becca, who gave us all the information we needed regarding animals and their customs and others. We visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara..and we saw the big five !!! Among other species such as zebras, giraffes, impalas, etc.I recommend this tour company a 100%. It was the best vacation of our lives !!

Christmas Safari - Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater
We had a wonderful experience with the team who kept us comfortable and satisfied. We realised we had forgotten our camera battery which could have been a disaster but they organised a new one for us and got it delivered in less than 24hrs!! Godfrey our tour guide and Hamisi our cook were exceptional. They were patient and friendly and went above and beyond the whole trip to make sure we had the very best experience. We were sorry to say goodbye to them in the end. We have had many tour guides throughout our travels and Godfrey ranks among the best!
