6 Days Manyara Serengeti Ngorongoro

This short safari lets you experience the best of Ngorongoro Conservation Area - with its largest concentration of wild animals at any given time as well as visit Serengeti National Park - home to the spectacular Annual wildbeest migration. You will also visit Lake Manyara - famous for its Tree climbing lions.

Day 1: Arusha / Lake Manyara National Park  

You will be picked up at the airport or in your Arusha hotel and then we drive out to Lake Manyara National park. Check in at your lodge, and optional evening game drive depending on your arrival.

Day 2: Lake Manyara / Serengeti National Park

Enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos and other varieties of birdlife. You will have lunch at the lodge. Then drive to Serengeti National Park. You will have dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. You will have your meals and overnight stay at the lodge in Serengeti.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Depart for a morning game drive in the Serengeti National Park. You will have lunch at the lodge. Then a drive to Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Continue driving to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

Today you will descend 2000 feet (over 600 metre) to the floor of crater for day tour with picnic lunches. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. You will have dinner and overnight stay at the lodge in Ngorongoro.

Day 6: Depart / Arusha

After breakfast drive back Arusha. You will have lunch in Arusha Town.
