8 Days Culture tour of Sri Lanka

This package is for the history buffs who want to discover about the amazing cultural heritage of Sri Lanka and be amazed by its wonders.

You will learn a few of the moves from practitioners of one of the oldest martial art forms in the world, visit the temple of the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha, journey through the ancient cities of Mihintale, Anuradhapra, and Polonnaruwa and be awe struck by the magnificent rock fortress built by an ancient Sri Lankan king.

Day 1

You will be met by a crew member who will welcome you and review the details of the tour with you and thereafter drop you off at your hotel in Colombo.

Day 2

You will be met at your hotel by your chauffeur guide who will transport you to Kaduwela for a day with the Angampora martial artists. You will then spend the day with these martial art practitioners who will teach you their ancient methods of yoga, meditation and self defense. You will then return to your hotel in Colombo.

Day 3

You will travel to Kandy from Colombo and spend the day exploring the city. You will witness a cultural tour which will consist of traditional dances and fire walking and thereafter visit the temple that holds the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha. You will then return to your hotel to relax and spend the night

Day 4

You will travel to Mihintale from Kandy and spend the day exploring the ruins in this ancient city. You will then return to your hotel to relax and spend the night.

Day 5

You will travel to Anuradhapura from Mihintale and you will spend the day exploring the ancient ruins. You will then return to your hotel to relax and spend the night.

Day 6

You will travel to Sigiriya from Anuradhapura and you will spend the day exploring the ancient rock fortress. Thereafter you will return to your hotel to relax and spend the night.

Day 7

You will travel to Polonnaruwa from Sigiriya and you will spend the day exploring the ancient ruins. Thereafter you will return to your hotel to relax and spend the night.

Day 8

You will return to Colombo and your trusted chauffeur guide will drop you off at the airport and ensure you are on time for your flight
