4 Days Amazon Lodges

Lining the banks of the Rio Negro (the mighty Amazon rivers main tributary) we find a host of family-run jungle lodges, many of whom seek to promote the positive impact that a greater understanding of their delicate rainforest environment can have on its future protection. For anyone seeking that fully-engrossed Amazon experience, supporting communities, understanding conservation and witnessing some extraordinary natural sites along the way; this tour is simply a must!

Any immersive rainforest exploration is only complete with its fair share of nature hikes, birdwatching walks, river kayaking, Caiman spotting, community visits and picture-perfect sunsets, all of which you can take a moment to enjoy during this adventure. Among the learning experience of regional customs, edible Amazonian fruits and medicinal plant life, one of the many natural highlights will come at "Encontro das Águas" the place where the Solimoes and Negro Rivers collide!

DAY 1 – Transfer Manaus Airport / Amazon Lodge

Airport arrival at Manaus and transfer along the Amazon River to the Lodge, a jungle hotel
situated in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest. We will be welcomed with a natural juice
prepared with fruits of the region and start activities at lodge. Accommodation.

DAYS 2 and 3 – Amazon Lodge

During these days we will take part in many activities to recognize the fauna and the most
characteristic landscapes, as well as the lifestyle of the inhabitants of the region. We will
make the most of our days in the Amazon, from the morning gazing at the sunrise, until the
night. In daytime we’ll take part in different activities created to maximize our adventure
discovering and learning from this place. For example, we will be fishing piranhas with
techniques used by the natives, sailing on canoe between igapós and igarapés, visiting a
community, walking in the jungle and learning about different exotic fruits and regional
traditions. Accommodation.
