5 Days Gorilla Wildlife Tour

In this 5 days safari package, you will take part in the amazing Gorilla Wildlife trekking experience in Bwindi impenetrable national park, and a fantastic safari in Queen Elizabeth national park – home of the famed Tree-climbing Lions and a variety of wildlife and beautiful scenery. 
Some of the highlights of the tour include: Gorilla Wildlife trekking, game drives in Queen, and a boat safari along the amazing Kazinga Channel.

DAY 1: ENTEBBE/KAMPALA-BWINDI GORILLA PARK

With a pick up by one of our representative who is both your guide and driver from your hotel of residence, the journey will start at 6:30am as you should be ready and finished with your breakfast. You will be driving to the beautiful Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, you will use the route via Masaka – Mbarara. You will have a quick stopover at the Equator for some snacks and take a few photos to kick start your amazing trip. 

You will most definitely have a lot to see as the route is blessed with beautiful from the beautiful views of vegetations to land forms, you will see some Ankole long horned cattle and farms. With lunch en route, you will continue your drive and arrive in Bwindi the home of the endangered mountain gorillas in the evening with dinner and overnight in a booked Accomodation.

 

DAY 2: MOUNTAIN GORILLA TRACKING BWINDI

Early breakfast with a drop off to the starting point of the gorilla wildlife trekking point, you will then be briefed by your guides before you set off for the mountains gorilla tracking inside the Bwindi forest. The starting point will depend on the different kind Gorilla groups you will be tracking as they are many families. You should have parked lunch from the hotel you would have stayed for overnight carry drinking water, rain jacket and jungle boots as the rain down in Bwindi is so unpredictable while the rangers will provide you with a walking stick. You will later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight after the gorilla wildlife activity.

 

DAY 3: COMMUNITY WALKS IN BWINDI – QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Enjoy your breakfast prepared from your lodge then with the local guide take community walk to typical Bakiga homes, traditional healers, local breweries, and local art and craft shops. Return to the lodge for lunch check out and drive to you next destination Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will drive through the Ishasha sector as you enjoy a game drive in the open savannah on the edge of the Albertine Rift Valley in search of the very typical tree climbing lions found only in this part of the country. This should conclude today as you will retire to the booked accommodation with dinner and overnight

 

DAY 4: GAME DRIVE-BOAT CRUISE ALONG KAZINGA CHANNEL

Today you will be having a game drive in the very early morning as this will be one of the activities you will be taking part in Queen Elizabeth National Park before you leave. The game drive should start by 6:30am as this will help you want to see the animals as they get out starting their day. As organized by the lodge, you leave for the game drive all you have is a cup of tea or coffee with some snacks. By 6:30am you ought to be on the tracking road already to find the animal as the sunrises. Later after the game drive is done, you will drive back to the lodge for your full breakfast and of course, check out of the hotel/ lodge. 

Return to the lodge for breakfast and relax at the swimming pool as you wait n lunch. In the afternoon you will go for a boat cruise along the beautiful Kazinga Channel, this will give you an opportunity to see more birds, for example, many water birds, cormorants, pelicans, eagles, and many other birds as well as crocodiles, hippos, elephants, buffaloes with dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING IN KYAMBURA GORGE – KAMPALA

With breakfast done and out of the way, drive to Kyambura gorge for a forest walk to look for the habituated chimpanzees and other primates. The chimpanzee are known for being mobile and viewing them is un-predictable but the walk is great adventure and one you should look forward to doing. You will later return to lodge for lunch and after drive back to Kampala with another stop at the equator but optional for shopping crafts. Drop off will be to your preference may be to a hotel in city of to the airport for your flight out.
