9 Days Svaneti Ski tour

Svaneti is not only wonderful in summer time, but in wintertime also you will hardly find better place to dive in snowy fairy tale. Except well known ski resorts around Mestia – Hatsvali and Tetnuldi, Svaneti offers big number of wild, untouched slopes with various landscapes. Ski tour Svaneti is designed by professional local ski tour guides. Tour duration is 9 days with 7 days of skiing and covers the most gorgeous slopes in Svaneti region and offers you real challenge.

Best season: January to beginning of April.

Day 1.

Transfer to Mestia (not included in the tour cost). Check in hotel. Walk around Mestia. Visit museum of history and ethnography in Mestia. Welcome dinner.

 

Day 2. 

Mount Detsil. Transfer from hotel to Tvebishi village, Becho community. Ski from Mt. Detsil to village Etseri. Skiing to the north side, and to the end south. Transfer from village Etseri to the hotel back to Mestia. Elevation: 1600 – 2500.

 

Day 3. 

Guli pass. Transfer from hotel to village Bagvdanari Becho community, Skiing to the west or north side. Transfer the same way to hotel in Mestia. Elevation: 1550 – 3300.

 

Day 4. 

Laila pass. Transfer from hotel to village Tskhumari. Skiing on north side. Back with same way to hotel in Mestia. Elevation: 1300 – 2500/3300.

 

Day 5.

Mount Cherinda. Transfer from hotel to village Etseri. Skiing on south face. Back same way to hotel. Elevation: 1600 – 3000 (not on the top)

 

Day 6. 

Tetnuldi ski resort – village Hadishi. Transfer from hotel to Ski Resort. Skiing couple hours on Tetnuldi Ski Resort. Then ski to village Hädish. From Hädish Transfer to village Ushguli. Overnight in Ushguli guesthouse.

 

Day 7. 

Mount Guro. Skiing on the west or south side. Elevation: 2200 – 3000. Overnight in Ushguli.

 

Day 8. 

Latpar pass. Skiing on the north side. Transfer from Ushguli to Mestia hotel. Elevation 2100 – 3000.

 

Day 9.

Final day in Svaneti. Transfer to Kutaisi, Zugdidi, Batumi or Tbilisi
